Hello!

​

My name is Elise, and I'm a theatre maker. More specifically, I'm an actor, playwright, dancer, choreographer, producer, and, at the core of it all, storyteller. I received my BA in theatre from Northeastern University, and since moving to Chicago, have taken classes at comedy epicenter, The Second City. My 10+ year acting background is largely on the stage in small fringe theatres, and I've produced two professional fringe productions since graduating college in 2022. The first being my one-woman show Strawberry Princess, and the latest a production of Zoo by Lily Bevan with Lady Dog Theatre Company, where I am a founding member.

 

I'm currently based in Chicago, IL, but you might also find me in Boston or Nashville from time to time working on various projects, from plays to commercials and everything in between!

Some of my loves outside of my artistic practice are reading, playing piano, swimming in Lake Michigan, traveling, and spending hours upon hours in antique stores. I also just love making popcorn and watching movies, but I like to consider that *professional research.*
