Strawberry Princess

Strawberry Princess is a one-woman show that I wrote, produced, and performed in collaboration with director Devon Whitney. It was made possible by the support of Chelsea Theatre Works, where we were artists in residence for their 2021-2022 season. The play centers the journey of a young Southern woman navigating the trials of a local beauty pageant; it's a one-hour-long, audience interactive deep dive into the complexities of queerness, childhood, organized religion, and what it means to embrace the truest nature of ourselves.
